Formal Approval Received from the UDA

We have received formal approval Letter for the Kattankudy Tsunami housing Project in Batticaloa, from the Urban Development Authority (UDA).

Although the foundations have been completed getting the formal approval means cutting through some red tape.

Approved plans with the UDA 'chop' are given below.

48 Foundations Completed!

It has been one and half months since we laid the foundation stone for this project. We are happy to announce that the work is progressing well despite the terrorist troubles looming in the area. To date 48 foundations of houses have been completed. The pictures below show some of the completed work as well as workmen on site.

We are proceeding with the completion of the balance 24 foundations. We hope to have one house completely built as a model by the end of this month. This will serve as a sign of hope for the recipients.

Keep checking this site for regular updates.
